(Reuters) - South Africa's top mobile phone operator Vodacom raised its customer base by 7.5 percent in the first quarter and boosted its dominance in its home market, co-owner Telkom said on Thursday.
Vodacom's revenue in the three months to end June rose 18.6 percent compared to the year-ago period while total customers increased 28.4 percent year-on-year, taking its subscribers to 32.4 million.
