(Reuters) - JOHANNESBURG, July 19 - South African mobile phone operator Vodacom increased its total customer base by 7.5 percent to 32.4 million in the quarter to end-June, co-owner Telkom said on Thursday.
Vodacom's revenue in its financial first quarter rose 18.6 percent while its total customers increased 28.4 percent from the same period a year ago. Vodacom is jointly owned by Telkom and Vodafone Plc .
