Australian, Canadian Dollars to Advance on Commodity Demand, Nomura Says

(Bloomberg) -- Investors should buy so-called commodity
currencies such as the Canadian and Australian dollars as global
economic growth fuels demand for raw materials, said Daisaku Ueno
at Nomura Securities Co.

Commodity demand from China and other nations drove Canada's
dollar to the highest since 1977 against the U.S. currency last
week and pushed Australia's dollar to a 17-year high last month.
Raw materials make up more than half of both nations' exports.
