(Reuters) - "While the latest index is not giving a clear indication of the direction of wages, it suggests we are in a holding pattern," said economist Kathryn Kobe, who worked on the development of the index for BNA.
Since rising steadily for nine quarters to a peak of 100.85 in the third quarter 2006, the index has fluctuated within a narrow range, said BNA.
