(Reuters) - The price of manufactured goods climbed 0.9 percent versus an average forecast of a 0.7-percent gain. On the year, factory prices rose 4.4 percent, just below the 4.6 percent seen in July of last year, which was a high point for the 2005-06 period, the agency said.
Raw materials prices jumped 2.6 percent against a consensus forecast of 2.5 percent and rose 9.1 percent compared to February 2006.
