(Reuters) - Shares in Africa's biggest iron ore producer Kumba Iron Ore hit an all-time fresh peak of 168 rand on Wednesday, buoyed partly by a research note, which set a fair value price of 205 rand for the stock.
Iron ore analysts and a fund manager said South African Kumba's shares rose partly on the research note by Merrill Lynch, and a purchase into a Brazilian iron ore by Kumba's parent company, mining giant Anglo American Plc.
