(Bloomberg) -- U.K. stocks fell, led by Man Group
Plc, the world's largest publicly traded hedge fund manager, and
Tate & Lyle Plc, the maker of the sweetener Splenda.
The benchmark FTSE 100 Index retreated 42.9, or 0.6 percent,
to 6616.2 as of 8:07 a.m. in London. Ireland's ISEQ Index
decreased 0.6 percent to 9100.17.
