(Bloomberg) -- French stocks slid, paced by Societe Generale SA, BNP Paribas and Dexia SA.
The CAC 40 Index lost 23.95, or 0.4 percent, to 5914.95 at 2 p.m. in Paris. The SBF 120 Index also declined 0.4 percent.
